FREDDIE BELL ROCKIN' IS OUR BUSINESS (27 masters from 'MERCURY/TEEN' labels. He's a legend in Vegas, but he never had a hit in the States. It was a different story in England tho'. Giddy Up A Ding Dong was a big hit there in 1956. Freddie was kinda like Bill Haley, cutting high energy, big band-styled rock 'n' roll. THE BIG THREE - CAVERN STOMP - THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS (The Big Three were legends of the seminal Merseybeat scene of 1961-64, renowned as one of its most exciting bands and scoring two Top 40 hits: 'Some Other Guy' (No. 37) and 'By The Way' (No. 22). CAVERN STOMP includes all of The Big Three’s recordings for Decca across 1963 and 1964: the classic At The Cavern Live EP plus four singles, compilation appearances and outtakes. These recordings have not been available on CD for a decade. As an added bonus, the Big Three’sreunion album from 1973, Resurrection, makes its first appearance here on CD. The Big Three included bassist Johnny Gustafson, who would later enjoy fame with the likes of Roxy Music, the Ian Gillan Band and the Pirates in the 1970s and beyond.
